Player Notes
My brother and I have been life-long miniature golf enthusiasts. We got started when we used to vacation in Myrtle Beach each summer as kids, and have been hooked ever since. Even though I live in
Cincinnati and he now lives in Atlanta, we still compete against each other every chance we get. We've had our own trophy made, and whoever is the reigning champion gets to keep the trophy until he loses
it. We have even coordinated business trips so that we could meet in neutral cities to arrange title matches. Some of these matches occur at 7:00 am in the morning, with the details being worked out with
the course owner in advance. When our favorite course in Cincinnati was renovated, I obtained a large piece of the sacred turf from our favorite hole (hole #17 on course #3, which we had dubbed the
"Snake River Canyon" hole [as you can imagine, it's one of those infamous ramps over water holes, ala Evil Knievel]) so that we could each have the turf professionally mounted and labeled in a
fitting tribute, where it is proudly displayed by each of us on our respective office walls. I could go on and on, but for brevity's sake, this will do it.
