FREDERICKSON STORMS THROUGH SEPTEMBER INVITATIONAL

Tom Frederickson of Salt Lake City, Utah brought home his third PMGA national championship Saturday as he outputted a field of the regions best miniature golfers at the September PMGA Open Invitational at Cherry Hill, Layton, Utah.  "The Open Invitational is a no-holds barred, anyone can participate, so this win feels especially nice not knowing the competition or whether or not there might be a couple of really awesome players that could've turned some heads," Frederickson said shortly after taking the title. In a two round format, Frederickson carried a 3-under par to the final 18 holes and secured his victory with an incredible 35-foot putt up an inclined bank, off a stone obstacle, and into the hole, for a hole-in-one.  A purse of prizes totally over $500 were awarded at the tournament open to all willing participants.
