The Alpine resort miniature golf course is a fun course. We originally visited the course August'98 during our annual Bar-J Jackson trip. The course sits on the side of mountain and the holes
are scattered along the contours of the steep incline. The holes use natural obstacles, and like other ski-lodge courses, features many holes that involve long drops and valleys. One hole in particular
requires a 6 foot drop into an evil "cinnamonn roll" obstacle.
As picturesque as the course may sound, it does have a down side. Bad, bad, bad personnel. In the middle of an exciting playoff victory clinching hole, the pms-ridden pimple face cut the lights on the
course and our 80's music blasting over the loud speakers.
So, it's nice course-but if the choice comes down to playing Alpine or picking up women at the Antler Arches in town-go for the Antlers. Paul S. Hemingway, August 1998
Just revisited the Alpine course, and the chick working the putt putt shack was higher than than the peaks behind the resort.
It made for a good laugh, but the resort might want to reconsider it's policies on Mary Jane. Paul Hemingway, PMGA 9/8/01:
