At first glance, the Sports Park* seems like a wholesome family fun park where one can enjoy a plethora of activities. 2 racetracks, batting cages, and arcades can entertain the rest of the
family while the serious mini-golfer heads for 1 of 2, 18-hole mini-golf courses.
The courses are laid out so that they weave amidst the landscape and create a sense of being a part of nature and the world of mini-golf. There are many obstacles and deceiving lies that can hinder even
the most expert mini-golfer. In the words of Margaret from NJ, "RATS" is the common yelp of agony that exits the mouths of all mini-golfers that visit the Sports Park.
The lighting is fair and the newly placed carpet is an added bonus to this year. The ground crew has done a good job of keeping excess debris off of the course as trains pass by in the night. The PMGA
holds a special place for the Sports Park in its history as it was the 1st tournament for the PMGA.
Keep an eye out for coupons that are good for discounts Monday-Thursday in Happenings books and other coupon books. Shane Jacobs, PMGA
* The Sports Park was bought out by Summerhays Music who now operates the course. I wouldn't expect it to be open for play much longer. Paul Hemingway, PMGA (January 2000)
