Golf in the Round
600 W 3300 South, Salt Lake City, UT (801) 973-2345
36 Holes - $5

This is my home course I absolutely love it. I am a natural course guy and this is the course for me. The stench mentioned in an earlier review is also from the fact the county make them used reclaimed water (it really isn't that bad). The course offers two 18 hole courses, the Cave course and the Lake course both of which are in excellent condition. The benefit of this course is that for $5.00 you play all day, and with two courses to choose from you can avoid the big groups of kids and things like that. Overall if you are a mini-golf fan and you haven't tried Golf-in-th-Round, you have been missing out on a great time.

Only two years old great condition water on many holes two 18 hole courses - no windmills. Group discounts available. Check it out- I highly recommended it.

A newer course (completed 2000?) in Salt Lake City just off of I-15 as part of a larger driving range facility.  Golf in the Round has two courses that are elevated and kept in great condition.  Natural obstacles, nothing too out of the ordinary.  Staff is great and seem to especially cater to the golfing crowd.

The downside?  It's probably a little overpriced.  $5+ is a little much for this course. But real nasty downside involves some sort of stench that emits from a some sort of sewage treatment plant somewhere near the course. No it's not the bean burrito from lunch, it's some sort of sewage stench from hell.

With that in mind, it's an above average course, very clean, nothing distiguishingly different here. The driving ranges might make it worth a stop if you want to make an afternoon out of it.  Just be sure to stay away on a windy day.
