Contrary to all the hype on this site about Cherry Hill, I find the place to be run down, and a un-kept. There is peices of carpet coming up, and old equiptment. Of course I must mention that I
prefer a natural course to a traditional, but this course is barely worth a visit.
Peter Fillmore, User Review (August 2003)
Cherry Hill, located in Kaysville, Utah, (15 min. from Utah's only amusement park and another important mini-golf course) is home of the annual PMGA Championship. The course, built in the
1970's is one of the true "built to last" mini-golf course in this part of the United States. Constructed by Grant S. Lloyd, founder of Cherry Hill, this mini-golf course features all the
obstacles and pleasures of top notch mini-golf course. From windmills, castles, the Eiffel Tower and even an alpine ski lift, the course challenges even the most skilled mini-golfer. The fairways are
long and test a true eye in reading the hidden breaks and curve of the green. There are many secret passages and tunnels that your ball can make as it meander from different levels of the course.
Cherry Hill serves as a model for all other courses that are featured on the PMGA web-site. The lighting is good and the cherry trees add a cozy atmosphere to the 18-hole course. The lawn is well kept and
the scenery around the course is always in tip-top condition. From the first hole until the 18th hole clock tower, this course provides fun for the entire family, as well as a competitive mini-golf
course that serves as a true test for the PMGA Championship.
Coupons are available in Happenings books and discounts are accessible by large groups. And remember, there is camping, trailer hook up, swimming and excellent Cherry Pie that makes Cherry Hill so
special. Shane C. Jacobs, PMGA
