What can I say? This course looked great from the highway. Giant skull, big mountain, pirate ship...and really it was a fun course.
Problem was that it was completely packed when we played it and by about hole #16 of your two-hour wait-putt-wait experience, the Peter Pan theme ("I am one of the lost boys," glaring over the load speakers) was about to drive me to severe states of insanity. Greens were absolutely gorgeous. The side we played seemed to play really easy on the front 9 (too easy probably), but then improved in difficulty near the end of the course.
So yeah, a nice one-time only course if you're chillin' in Myrtle Beach, but definitely try to go when traffic is slow. Paul Hemingway 6/02,
