East Potomac Mini Golf is another candidate for the oldest operating mini golf in the U.S. It is believed to have opened in the 1920s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has 18 unique holes with ponds, a bridge, a tunnel and other clever old-fashioned elements. It is part of an upscale golf course. I have seen the place referred to as Circus Mini Golf Putt-4-Fun so it's possible it may have had circus-theme figures at one time.
